Free Website General Advice
This free advice is contributed by us and our registered Super Advisers to assist our clients (Advisers) and their clients (Trustees of SMSF’s). For verification of rates, thresholds, caps, and any other statements made, where possible, each topic has a link to the ATO website often described as “here’s what the ATO has to say <ATO-Link>.
The general advice is written in easy to understand language so that both experts, and non experts can easily understand the topics. For these reasons the topics are not written in language that reflects the terms used and references to sections of the law. Accordingly, this Free General Advice is not designed to be relied upon by the user as it is general in nature. It is to be used to understand the subject area better, to become more informed, so that it can enhance a SMSF Trustee’s knowledge prior to a consultation with an adviser for specific advice, which we always recommend.
The free advice being general in nature may NOT answer all of your questions but will provide the valuable background to the subject area, before you approach your adviser with a specific question or if you are an Accountant or Advisor, before approaching us.
